Dr Babar Usman Wahid qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in London in 2007. Since then, he has developed a strong interest in dental implantology, oral surgery and advanced restorative dentistry.
He holds the MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick, and a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry in Dental Implantology.
Dr Wahid’s main areas of expertise include dental implant placement, bone preservation and augmentation, complex extractions, oral surgery, soft tissue management and restorative rehabilitation. He has extensive experience managing both straightforward and complex surgical cases.
Known for his calm and reassuring approach, Dr Wahid takes time to explain each stage of treatment clearly and carefully plans every case to achieve safe, predictable and long lasting results.
Alongside his clinical work, he has supported newly qualified dentists as an Educational Supervisor and currently serves as Director for Wandsworth on the South West London Local Dental Committee.
