CBCT Imaging Referrals in Surrey
In-house CBCT and OPG imaging for referring dentists across Surrey.
We provide CBCT and OPG imaging on our in-house Planmeca ProMax 3D. Scans can be reported by a Consultant Radiologist on request. Images are returned to you by USB or secure cloud link.

Scan options
OPG, or CBCT covering a small field (5 × 5), maxilla, mandible, dual jaw or sinus.
What to include with your referral
- Your GDC number, practice address and contact details
- Your patient’s contact details — we contact them directly to arrange an appointment
- Relevant medical history, including medications and allergies
- Clear clinical justification for the scan
- Relevant findings and previous imaging, with dates, to avoid repeat exposures
- Whether you would like a Consultant Radiologist report, and how you would like the images returned
Your responsibilities under IR(ME)R 2017
Under the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IR(ME)R 2017), as amended, every radiograph and CBCT scan must be clinically evaluated, either by the referring practitioner or by a radiologist. This also helps identify any incidental findings. We recommend this service and can arrange a report from a Consultant Radiologist. Please include clear clinical justification with every referral.
